Through skill trainers teaching hand-made skills such as crafting shoes, making liquid soap, baking cakes, producing Vaseline, and more, the program equipped participants with valuable tools for economic empowerment and personal development.

The program had a transformative impact on participating youths, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge to pursue economic opportunities and improve their livelihoods. Many participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn new skills, noting the program’s positive influence on their confidence, employability, and future prospects.
The Program on The Impact of Drugs and Other Vices, organized by Umu Igbo Unite Cares in collaboration with Police Against Cultism and Other Vices Program (POCACOV) and NDLEA, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and other vices among students. Facilitated by esteemed guest speaker CSO Ebere Amarizu, the program provided valuable insights and guidance to students at Government Technical College on making informed choices and resisting negative influences.
