The Impact Skills Program, in partnership with Impact Field Organization

The Impact Skills Program, in partnership with Impact Field Organization, aimed to empower youths with practical skills for self-reliance and entrepreneurship. Through skill trainers teaching hand-made skills such as crafting shoes, making liquid soap, baking cakes, producing Vaseline, and more, the program equipped participants with valuable tools for economic empowerment and personal development.

Impact Assessment:

The program had a transformative impact on participating youths, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge to pursue economic opportunities and improve their livelihoods. Many participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn new skills, noting the program’s positive influence on their confidence, employability, and future prospects.

The Program on The Impact of Drugs and Other Vices, organized by Umu Igbo Unite Cares in collaboration with Police Against Cultism and Other Vices Program (POCACOV) and NDLEA, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and other vices among students. Facilitated by esteemed guest speaker CSO Ebere Amarizu, the program provided valuable insights and guidance to students at Government Technical College on making informed choices and resisting negative influences.

Impact Assessment:

The program had a significant impact on participating students, equipping them with knowledge and strategies to resist drugs and other harmful vices. Many students expressed appreciation for the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and pledged to make positive choices for their futures. (2022)
